Never Pet a Burning Dog... and Other Helpful Tips

For some reason this popped into my mind as I was cleaning out the dryer today.  It's something we used to say in high school: "Never pet a burning dog... ever!"  The ever just really added the emphasis needed to discourage the behavior.

So here are some other tips that I'm sure you will find useful.

Never put a crayon in your pocket... ever!

If you pull a load of laundry out of the dryer and bright splotches of color have mysteriously appeared on most of the clothing, it's probably that crayon you put in your pocket.

Blame it on your two or three year old toddler.  After all, the only reason you put that crayon in your pocket in the first place was to prevent said toddler from applying it to the walls or some other inappropriate place.

The red streaks coating the inside of your dryer can be removed with Ajax.

It's probably not a good idea to leave your toddlers unattended while you clean out the inside of your dryer, even if they are strapped into their little straitjackets high chair and booster seat.

That's all, folks!
