My baby monitor (or namitor, as Tino used to call it) is one of my favorite things. Not only does it alert me when one or both children may be awake and need attention, but it's also a great way to eavesdrop on their conversations. Not too long ago, both children were awake in their beds and Victoria was fussing. Tino did his best to console her.
T: Victoria, you want your Daddy?
V: Yeah.
T: Victoria, you like candy?
V: No.
T: Victoria, you like airplanes?
V: No.
This went on and on for quite some time, with Victoria responding "no" to each of his questions and intermittently wailing for either Mommy or Daddy.
Finally, Tino had evidently had enough and said, "Victoria, be quiet!"
